She Means Business is an initiative by Avant Welfare Foundation dedicated to celebrating, amplifying and connecting women who are shaping the future of Bengaluru.
Through powerful storytelling, meaningful conversations and a growing community of leaders, this initiative aims to highlight the resilience, leadership and vision of women across industries and backgrounds.
Because when one woman’s story is told, it inspires many more to rise.
The Initiative
She Means Business is designed as a multi-phase initiative that brings together stories, conversations and community to celebrate women leaders and change-makers.
The initiative will unfold through three key phases:
Phase 1 — The Stories
30 Women · 30 Stories
A storytelling series celebrating thirty extraordinary women who are shaping Bengaluru through leadership, innovation, resilience and impact.
Each story highlights the journey behind the success — the challenges, the lessons and the vision that drives them forward.
These stories aim to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals, and future leaders across the city.
Phase 2 — The Summit
The initiative will culminate in a She Means Business Summit, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers from across Bengaluru.
The summit will feature:
Inspiring talks
Leadership conversations
Entrepreneurial insights
Networking opportunities
It will serve as a platform to celebrate the women featured in the initiative while fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
Phase 3 — The Collective
Beyond the stories and the summit, She Means Business aims to build a lasting community.
The Collective will bring together women entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders to support one another through shared knowledge, collaboration and opportunities.
Because true impact happens when women grow together.
